Winter Wonderland

Winter Weddings have become our the events of the year! Our winter brides have proven to be open to trying new decorating ideas. Check out the New Year's Day wedding of Terria & Kami at Celebrations Church in Columbia. In order to give the aisle a more intimate feel we lifted 8 stunning floral pieces constructed of Giant White Hydrangeas, Akito Roses, White Orchids, curly willow and custom painted pine cones collected by the bride's South Carolina family. To add an icy element to these spectacular pillar displays we dressed them in white muslin adorned with hanging crystal strands secured to a silver satin ribbon.

We also dressed the Alter by creating a fabric swagged piece inspired by a Chuppa. This element added to the intimate feel of the large space as well as bringing in more of the winter whites to the ceremony.

The images were captured by my friend and photographer Marilou Burleson ( http://www.burlesonstudios.com/ )
